The dark green monstera leaf although faux, is perfectly at home with its living counterparts.

Houseplants

I no longer have some of these plants because they went to live on a farm in a greenhouse. (Insert tears here).

While we are on that subject, click here for some easy care houseplants that I have managed to keep alive.

I loved having my plants up here. Unfortunately, this spot did not receive enough sunlight and the gang had to be split up. But it did make a nice display for a few days.

If you have open shelving in a spot that receives good natural light, I'm green. With envy.

But seriously, if you do then here's a tip - a plant shelfie would be a super cool way to show off your collection! The vertical shelving gives you much more room compared to a traditional plant stand(s).

You can also style it with a few books and boxes, all while keeping the plants the star.

It will also serve as a great backdrop for a human selfie. Now isn't that reason enough to try this at home? If that doesn't convince you, then well...I don't know what will.

Cheers,
Vinaya
