THE FIRST POST. A SHOT AT PRIVACY

January 26, 2014

In a world obsessed with hashtagging, Instagramming, and Facebook friending every known acquaintance on the planet, is blogging still “in”? Will my blog be labeled ancient?

When I was in school and first learned about blogging, I was surprised that people would write about their personal lives so publicly. Did privacy not matter? I wondered back then.

Fast forward 15 years, and I can’t help laughing at how naïve I had been. Or maybe I had underestimated technology and how the human race (and me) would adapt. I remember reading somewhere: Privacy is a thing of the past. Get over it. Caught in the midst of technology, I am still contemplating what to do with all these social platforms.

To embrace or not.

But before I figure that out, I have a lazy Sunday nap to take. Snooze.

Meanwhile, if you're navigating the digital world like I am, you can connect Amazon SNS and Chatwork integrations to automate notifications and streamline your online communications. Who knows, maybe that will free up even more time for naps!
