GREEN INSPIRED TABLE SETTING

May 17, 2016

This month Urban Jungle Bloggers  Igor and Judith want to see our plant inspired table settings.

To be honest, my husband and I hardly eat at the dining table. We are risk-takers who prefer eating on the couch next to our creamy white rug. Also, back in India, we don't do very formal table settings. Meals are always a very casual affair.

However, like every month, I embraced this theme and eventually set up a very casual plant inspired setting for two. With a side of air plant.

Just a few potted plants and some air plants - and my green tablescape was complete.

Remember not to accidentally consume your air plants, that's not very good for their survival. Or yours.

Thanks for hosting yet another fun challenge, Urban Jungle Bloggers and saving my rug from strawberry stains!

Cheers,
Vinaya

Yes we never typically set a table , everything is usually all over the place . But this certainly was a good excuse to try something different. :)

  5. Hahaha, very glad we saved your rug from strawberry stains ;) So nice you joined us even though you never really eat at the table, it's cool to shake up habits a bit sometimes. And to try new stylings too. Thank you for playing along, Vin! Bravo!

We don't eat at the table, either. Cute tablescape!

  8. Hi Lisa ! Ha ha this month's theme has certainly proved dining rooms all over the world are rarely used to dine. :)
    Thankyou for stopping by!

  9. Fun post and lovely setting! I agree about not eating at the table. Being part Indonesian, we didn't really do that at home either ;)

Hi Yvonne, thanks for stopping by the blog! :)
Ha ha, I guess this month's theme has certainly encouraged all of us to put our dining rooms to use :)

The place setting is so nice Vin! The kids are the only ones who truly "eat" at the table in our house LOL.

Thanks Linda. Ha ha, our table usually acts as a catch all for bills, magazines and anything that doesn't have a place :)
